Any interested user can access and open an account! Registered users can also request to join any community, which further helps in knowledge dissemination, capacity development and information sharing. The management of the communities is at the discretion of the assigned community moderators and administrators. Moderators have a responsibility to make sure their users abide by the AFREDAC Ubuntu Platforms Policy and Terms of Service.

A community can be country based but still involve collaborators internationally, this is still regarded a s country-based. If the intended audience, participants and context are beyond a country, that community feel free to select regional or any other option that best describes your community.
Primary audience - this will be a group that works daily/regularly as a core lead of the community of practice e.g., society of bioethicists in Africa or surgical society of a country
Secondary - this will be an audience intended to be reached e.g., all clinical and publi health individuals interested in bioethics or clinicians, surgeons and public health individuals interested in surgery etc.

Each community in AFREDAC needs at least one Admin/Moderator from your organisation.
*When listed on the platform, users can see it, but they will need to apply or be added by the admin/moderator.
The platform can integrate a Zoom account either using Afredac's package (Recommended) or your own/institution's account.
